Springboard’s employment programs take a holistic client-centered approach by providing an array of client-tailored programming. Through innovative programs, clients receive specialized support, structure and guidance to achieve their employment goals. Our programming includes assessment, career exploration, education and training components, and, in some cases, subsidized employment or on-the-job training. For those with needs that are beyond the scope of employment programming, we offer referrals to a wide range of specialized services, available through other departments at Operation Springboard and through our network of partner agencies.

Our client centred suite of programming means that when an individual comes through the door, we work with that person to help determine their specific needs and what service options are right for them. The custom plans we build for each client might encompass one or more of our funded programs - which can be accessed simultaneously or sequentially, based on the needs of the client.

Our programming can provide pre-employment supports and job development for youth aged 16 and up, pre-employment supports for those on Ontario Works, and Summer Job development (and subsidies) for students (aged 15 to 30) who are returning to school in the fall.
