Adult Justice
Springboard offers a series of programs for adults who are involved in the criminal justice system.
Springboard’s Community Justice programming includes our Direct Accountability program for provincial criminal code offences, our Stop Shop Theft program for theft charges, and the diversion program for possession of marijuana through the federal court at Old City Hall.
The Intermittent Community Work Program (ICWP) provides a community work alternative for adult males serving an intermittent (usually weekend) sentence who qualify based on strict criteria determined by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
Springboard also provides Community Service Order program for adults to fulfill a condition of their probation order to complete specified number of hours of community service.
