About Springboard

Springboard is a non-profit agency that works with at-risk youth and adults to develop skills they need to reach their full potential.  We offer a number of programs in the areas of Alternative Justice, Employment and for those with Developmental Disabilities.  

Springboard was founded in 1969 and incorporated into a registered non-profit agency in 1974, making it one of Ontario’s most established non-profit organizations. We receive funding from the Province of Ontario, the Government of Canada, the City of Toronto and a number of other corporations and foundations.

We are governed by a 12 member Board of Directors and supported by our Advisory Board and Patron Committee. Our Leadership work together with our Senior Executive to provide counsel, broaden our support and establish partnerships for our work.
